MD Eye Center
Riverside Eye Center was founded in 1993 by E. Michael Balok, MD in East China. After successfully growing his practice in East China, Dr. Balok expanded in 2005 with a second location in Fort Gratiot. In 2018 Dr. Balok was joined by Matthew Hulst, OD to serve more patients in his flourishing offices. With a proven track record of success, Dr. Balok was approached by the Millman-Derr Center for Eye Care to take over their legacy of patient care. In June of 2024, Dr. Balok reopened Millman-Derr as MD Eye Center in Macomb. He was joined by Millman-Derr optometrists, Drs. Jillian Boyd and Margaret Schlosser. Dr. Balok and his team look forward to welcoming patients to one of his three successful practices.
